The entry will comprise of three wines of the same label as follows:

(X) Current Vintage, e.g. a 2018 wine
(Y) One of between 5 and 9 years older than current vintage, e.g. wines from 2013-2009
(Z) One of at least 10 years or older than current vintage, e.g. 2008

Two bottles of each wine are required for judging and these must be finished bottled stock.

For current vintage wines (62 X & 63 X) a minimum held finished bottled quantity of 100 dozen is required. There are no minimum held volume requirements for older wines submitted (classes 62 Y & Z, and 63 Y & Z), however these wines must have been released by the time of delivery.

Wines entered in this section may also be entered into their respective vintage classes - separate bottles must be provided for these entries.

Judges will look for consistency of style and excellence across the three wines and will provide overall commentary on the bracket (rather than individual scores). The trophy winner and runner-up only of each category (white and red) will be announced (providing the entries are deemed to be of appropriate quality and consistency of style).
